Twin Ownership Mentoring
Buying or flying your first twin? Get an experienced Beechcraft owner-instructor in your corner.
Owning a twin is a different world from renting one. Beyond the rating and the checkout, there's pre-purchase decision-making, insurance, maintenance, currency, and the ongoing proficiency that keeps single-engine emergencies manageable. Twin ownership mentoring is an ongoing relationship that helps you make good decisions across all of it.
As a Beechcraft specialist, I help new and prospective owners step into multi-engine ownership with realistic expectations and a plan for staying sharp.
What Mentoring Includes
- Pre-purchase guidance — choosing the right airplane for your mission and budget.
- Transition & insurance checkout — getting safely and legally into your aircraft.
- Recurrent proficiency — a plan for staying current on single-engine procedures.
- Operational know-how — the real-world side of owning and operating a twin.
Structured Around You
There's no fixed package — how we work together is entirely up to you. Mentoring scales from a single session to an ongoing relationship:
- A one-off checkout or second opinion. I've mentored several Baron pilots who simply wanted some tips and confirmation that what they were doing was correct.
- Getting current again. For one pilot returning after a period of inactivity, I provided multiple sessions over several hours to rebuild proficiency and confidence.
- Recurrency & flight reviews. Ongoing currency training, including the FAA flight review (required every 24 calendar months).
- Full training. Or the usual end-to-end instruction toward a rating or aircraft transition.
